How much will this costs?
Costs depend on how much time is required, the type of work being done, and the cost of materials. Rough price ranges can be found in the Services section of my website. For accurate estimates, I’ll need to see the instrument in person. Initial inspections are free of charge if repairs are completed or $30 if repairs are declined.
How long will this take?
Most repairs take 1 – 3 weeks. Major repairs, like overhauls, can take longer.
What should I do if my mouthpiece is stuck?
An instrument with a stuck mouthpiece should always be brought to a professional repair shop. Removing a stuck mouthpiece is usually free, but severe damage can be done if incorrect methods are used — resulting in costly repair bills.
How often shold I have my instrument serviced?
I recommend instruments be services about once a year, but some instruments can require more frequent professional cleanings depending on personal habits and body chemistry.
I can’t get to your shop. Do you offer pick up/drop off services?
I may be able to help with pick up/drop off in some cases for an additional fee. Please contact me if you are not able to bring your instrument to the shop.
Can you service my flute?
At the moment, I only work on brasswind instruments.
